Not sure what to say?

I was just thinking of Richard yesterday....some very fond memories just popped up for no real reason. We cross paths with many wonderful people in our lives and some are more special than others. Richard was in the latter group for me professionally and personally. While at Van Ness Feldman he represented my employer, Honda, at my recommendation as outside Counsel in a very serious environmental enforcement action. I always felt is a true tribute to him to be complemented to me privately...

Nancy and Family, so sorry to hear of Rich's passing. Did not him well but will miss his smile.

Rich was a wonderful man, and we enjoyed singing in the choir with him for over 20 years. We were missing him already when he stopped singing with us. God bless all the family. Sincerely, Kathy Hinkle

rich was a super friend .awesome family person. will miss rich. god bless tom and sally zaccaria

Rich was an inspiring mentor and effective leader. He shaped my professional values and personal aspirations. He was a voice of reason and public service that today's lawyers entrusted with protection of our resources should emulate. May his memory be a source of blessing.

Praying that God will pour out his peace over each of you and give you strength in the days ahead.

Love,
Renee DeWitt

Rich was a tremendous lawyer, valuable colleague and mentor. He also was incredibly kind and decent. He will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to Nancy and the family.

I was so sorry to hear about your great loss. Rich was a wonderful man ! I haven't seen the family in a long time, but their friendship from many years ago has always stayed with me- Just wonderful people. I know he will be greatly missed. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Rich was a mentor, great counselor, friend and just a genuinely wonderful person. It was an honor to have known and worked with him. Condolences to his family and Nancy for this loss. As others have said, he will truly be missed.
