Not sure what to say?

Mrs Kraus

I just returned from vacation in Florida and learned of Mr. Kraus's passing. My deepest sympathy. I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Kraus from 1975 until he left Chippenham (and I soon followed). He had a great influence on my live--he was instrumental in my returning to MCV and obtaining a masters in health administration. I always told him that everything I learned about healthcare, hospitals and management I learned from him. I held him in the highest regards. He...

Martha,
I have just heard of Dick's passing. I know this is a sad time. He is now rejoicing in Heaven with my dad, Bob Stamback. They are the same age.....hard to let them go but know it is a blessing for them.
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers
Kim Boswell (Stamback)

May God bless you and your family during this time of sorrow. Mr. Kraus was a true gentleman and a remarkable man. I feel blessed to have known Mr. Kraus.

Dear Martha, Stephanie and Nancy,

I am one of the many people that had the privilege of working with Mr. Kraus when he was Division VP of HCA and at Chippenham Hospital. He was a wonderful, kind, generous man and will be missed by so very many people. My deepest sympathy for your loss.

I worked with Dick when he was at the old Richmond Memorial Hospital. He was very pleasant to work with and was an excellent hospital administrator. My deepest condolences to his family.

Martha,
My thoughts and prayers to you and your family for the loss of Dick. His love for Healthcare was always second to you and the girls.
I remember when he came over to the old Johnston-Willis Hospital, and worked in the house next door when HCA only had 9 hospitals.
Dick was a leader in our field and I know he touched many of us on his life's journey.
I remember one day Dick and I went fishing down in Stony Creek. He talked about you,his girls, and getting over to the new...

Martha,

I was in the Chesterfield Kiwanis Club for nine years with him. He was a fine gentleman. My life was enriched for having known him.

May The Soul Of The Departed Rest In Peace. My prayers are with Martha and the girls. I have known Dick for many years, having worked with him in Texas when we were Div. VP's. A nice human being. God will enjoy being with Dick.

Will Loving

My sympathies to the Kraus family. I worked with Mr. Kraus when I first came to Richmond and was setting up the cancer program at Chippenham. He was a kind, wise and generous gentleman and I will miss him.
