Not sure what to say?

I made a trip to to visit Duane and he took me to your resting place. A beautiful home. Sure do miss you and the good times we had. Hard to believe it has been a year. Until we meet again.

I remember the trip to CA that Jan talked about with my sisters and Mom. Dick picked the six of us up in a white cargo van. Luckily, the van did have windows! Dick's reasoning was because we had too much luggage and too many cameras! He took us to a Chinese restaurant because we all liked that type of food. He warned us while we were ordering that the chow mein wasn't like it was back in WI. He was right, we had too much of something that looked nothing like chow mein. When Judi, Jim,...

Duane,Carol,Rey,Owen,
You all have my sympathy. I was sorry to hear of Dicks passing. I really enjoyed seeing him,and the rest of you,the few times I made it out to visit and when he came back to Wisconsin. We had a good time. I remember when I was in the Navy and I visited for the first time. Dick took me out to see the sights and we drove around for quite awhile. He said "When I come back to Wisconsin, your Dad always had me go along on the Milk Route with him, now you have to ride...

Rest in peace,Cousin Dick

To Duane, Ray, and Carol,
I have so many memories of Dick from the time I was a little girl of four and five onward. I always looked forward to his visits. He would tease me until I'd get upset when I was little but then he'd play with us and make us laugh.
It was always a special summer when he came back for a visit. I did get back at him for all the teasing when I came
out for a visit in June ,1966 and he took me to Walt Disney's park and we went on the "It's a small...

Dear cousin Duane, Owen, Rey, and Carol I was so very sorry to hear of cousin Dick's passing. Throughout my life his visits back to see us were always special as his positive, upbeat, humorous nature was infectious and always brought joy. One could not help but be in good spirits whenever Dick was around. If I can pick who I get to spend an eternity with, cousin Dick will be on my list. I have to believe heaven became a happier place the day he arrived. God Bless,
- Cousin Pete

Peacefully rest Dick.

When with think of Dick we remember his ready wit, interesting stories (especially about remodeling for the Hollywood stars) and willingness to entertain his Midwest cousins.
We know you will miss him a lot and we will keep you in our prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you...Tammy Spates and family
