Not sure what to say?

Mr. Richard Krinsley, 'the "Krins" as noted in his Memorial', who was a very special person that loved and influenced so many is remembered still by those who's lives he touched. Love to the Krinsley Family & Friends legacy from the Jack & Annie Renahan Family.

Dick was very special to me, when I joined Random House, at 23. He was extremely kind and I looked up to him enormously. I tried very hard to find him both on the Vineyard and CT to recconnect, and felt badly that I failed. My favorite moment with him came during the sales conference at which the Sesame Street books were introduced. They showed a video to give a taste of what the show was. Most of the reps were older, with grown children, and had no idea. Part of the video was Grover running...

Dick Krinsley was a kind and loving man. We met at Scholastic. He was always encouraging, enthusiastic, creative in his problem solving and with you--not just passing by. I felt he cared and have always remembered him as one of the good guys. He has been a model for how I want to be. My condolences to his family. We have lost someone special.

I worked for and with Dick at Scholastic. He was both smart and wise. His was a sane, steady hand in what could be a slightly raucous crowd. I remember one night we were having an international "family" dinner, maybe twenty employees at the table. We started to sing (not necessarily to the enjoyment of other guests.) Waltzing Matilda for the Aussies, Alouette for the Canadians etc. when Dick was asked if he had a favorite, he said the only song he wanted to sing was the one he'd sung to...

Dick was V.P. Director of Sales, when I joined the Random House sales force. He was a wonderful boss, and an exceptional person. He was also VERY funny. One moment in particular, from sales conference, I have been sharing with people for years.

Dick Krinsley was V.P. Director of Sales at Random House, when I started with the company, and a joy to work for. I was blessed to have known him.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Krinsley in San Francisco a few years ago. He was witty and appropriately proud of his son, Jamie, who I am fortunate to count as a close friend. My heart goes out to he, Maureen, Jenna, and the entire Krinsley famiy.

I remember Dick as a girl growing up in my home with my father Arnold Zohn. All good wishes to the family
