KRUMLAUF, Richard - Of Flint, age 82, died Sunday, July 8, 2007 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 2PM Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Doug Klein officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery with a military chapel service by the Marine Corps League Flint Detachment #155 Honor Guard. Visitation 3-8PM Tuesday and 10AM Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Richard was born in Flint, Michigan on July 19, 1924, the son of Roy and Hazel (Hilty) Krumlauf. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Wanda (Lou) Miller on April 6, 1963. Mr. Krumlauf retired from Complete Auto Transit in 1986. He leaves to cherish his memory, daughter, Jean Phipps; son, Kelly Krumlauf; 2 grandsons, Timothy Blake and wife Heather, Terry Blake and wife Melissa; 4 great-grandchildren, Emily, Kelli, Hannah and Ricky; 2 sisters, Dorothy Jean (Charles) Rossie and Virginia Albo.
