Not sure what to say?

I worked for Holzka, Donahue & Kuhn a lifetime ago. Dick Kuhn was always a gentleman. He taught me quite a bit about the practice of law. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

A good neighbor, a good friend and remember him as a wonderful family man devoted to his wife (Perla) and his 3 Sons

My father could be uptight, stressed and not fun to be around, however, when he was with certain people, Dick Kuhn being one of them, he was relaxed, having fun and enjoying his good friend's company. That is the strongest memory I have of him.

My condolences to you all, my heart goes out to you. I will always remember Mr. Kuhn's (although I am 64 now - he is still Mr. Kuhn) generous smile, kindness, energy and enthusiasm. Rest in Peace.

I worked for Holzka, Donahue & Kuhn back in the 1980´s. Like Maura Donahue, I check the Staten Island Obituaries, every once in awhile. Just saw this and have fond memories of Mr. Kuhn and his sons who worked at the firm sometimes. May he RIP always. Condolences to his family.

Every so often I check the S.I. obituaries and I was so saddened to see this. Growing up I have such fond memories of Mr. Kuhn. He was so chill and kind. Also such a great friend to my father and wrote such a beautiful letter to us when dad passed. My most heartfelt condolences to Perla and the boys during this difficult time.

Dear Perla, I just heard about your loss of your wonderful husband. Although we lost contact trough the years, I always remember him from my earliest days as a serious and kind human being. Aunt Dolly was one of my favorites of mother´s friends and Dick was almost one of our family. Thinking of you at this sad time and sending lots of love and wishes for your strength as you continue to navigate through life. I see you have 7 grandchildren. With three sons and all those grandchildren,...

Dick was a lovely decent man, and a fierce competitor. I knew him first as a neighbor. But then we played tennis. I drew him into a weekly doubles group. And then he drew me and others to the court at constitution hill, after he moved there. Before and after tennis, we talked law, music, and politics. He was always smart and kind. And a deeply caring man. I will miss him. Dirk Hartog

Dear Perla and family, I think I speak for all the Leventhal family when I say that we have been and still are Friends for life, a long and fruitful life. We wish you an easy time during this time of loss. Dick touched and benefited our family in his lifetime. We should all be so loved and respected.
