Richard L. McFarland

Richard L. McFarland, 66, passed away Saturday December 2, 2023.  

He was born August 31, 1957 in Indianapolis, Indiana and was the son of Ralph McFarland and Betty (Fox) McFarland.

Rick attended Ben Davis High School.  He grew up in Clermont, Indiana and then spent most of his adult life in Avon, Indiana.  He worked in the lumber business and was a founder and business owner for Circle City Millwork and Supply.  Rick enjoyed football and loved watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys and the Indianapolis Colts.  He also liked attending Pacers games. He took pleasure in spending time outdoors and enjoyed numerous outdoor activities such as camping and boating.

Rick is survived by his children, Ricky (Leslie) McFarland, Rachael (Mark) Burchfield and Reece (Paige) McFarland; three grandchildren, Mark, Alexia and Rhea; and his sister, Connie (Rick) Cantleberry; along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother, Steve.  

Services are at Conkle Funeral Home Avon on Saturday December 9, 2023 at 1pm with Visitation from 11am-1pm before the Service.  Burial will be in West Ridge Park Cemetery.
