Not sure what to say?

Dearest Peggy and family: I have had the pleasure to have known Richard as well as yourself for a couple of years. I worked with Richard at Tom Thumb. I worked as the front end manager. All my best regards and may you find the strenghth in knowing that Richard will be sorely missed. Take care, Debbie

peggy, zachary & matthew,

my deepest condolences. richard was one of the best human beings i have been around. his humor & wit will be with me for the rest of my life.
you guys were the best neighbors we EVER had and we missed having you around after our move from richardson to houston.
it has been said that a person's true wealth is measured by the number of souls they have touched and friends they have made.
in that case, we have just lost one of the wealthiest men...

Dear Peggy, Zachary, and Matt,
I am so sorry for your loss. Whenever I spent time with "Uncle Richard", it was certain that he would make me laugh, even in sad times. I remember so vividly-- the family had gathered to scatter Bill's ashes at his favorite sailing spot and say our final goodbyes. My dad asked Richard if he needed any help carrying the box, and Richard, not missing a beat, said, "No, he ain't heavy, he's my brother," with a sheepish grin. All of us tearful, we began to...

I have had wonderful memories of great times with Richard. Some of the best laughts I've ever had have been with Richard and Peggy. It was my honor to be the maid of honor at your wedding. I'm glad I was there to witness the committment that the two of you made to each other that lasted through 33 years. My deepest condolences to you, Peggy, and to Zachary and Matthew. Know that prayers are being lifted to support all three of you.

Peggy, Zach & Matt,
I know Rich was a great husband and father, but I want you to know that I couldn't have had a better big brother. When our dad died, Richard not only was my brother but my fill-in dad and friend - and he did a great job at all three. He not only taught me how to throw a knuckleball, he taught me how to be kind and compassionate to everyone. I love him and will miss him. And I love you all.

Marty

You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Matt,
Our hearts go out to you, your mom and your brother. We will keep all of you in our prayers. May God bless you and comfort you as you walk through this journey. May God welcome your dad with loving arms into his eternal reward in heaven.
With love,
Michael and Joanne Patranella

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May they rest in peace.

Amen.

Zach, Sympathies to you and your family during this most difficult time. May your memories and our prayers bring you comfort.
