Not sure what to say?

What a blessing it is to have met Marge and Richard. "Grandpa" was always a treat for all of the kids who entered the Lahey residence, and we were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Richard. He will truly be missed, but always remain in our hearts.

Richard added a peace and serenity to Meetings that seems to go along w/ a man working and living the Program. His spirit will remain in the Fairbanks Group, New Hope Group and no doubt many other Meetings around the area and whereever he visited. Thank you Richard. And God bless all of Richard's family and friends.

Richard was most generous in making me feel welcome to the Fairbanks Group when I moved to Orlando. I will always remember his kindness as will all those he helped.

RICHARD WILL BE MISSED BY ALL OF US WHO CAME IN CONTACT WITH HIM. HE ALWAYS HAD HIS HAND OUT TO HELP OTHERS. THAT IRISH SMILE WAS PART OF HIM. HIS SPIRIT WILL LIVE ON WITH HIS MANY TRUE FRIENDS

I was just at the FairBanks Grp Sunday before last and He came over and introduce himself to me, He seem to be a nice guy and Reaching his hand out to me, just in case.

I am deeply saddened today, March 28, 2007, as I learned that Richard Lahey has passed. I first met Marge and Richard through the in home daycare run by Marge. I ran into them at a store about six months ago. They have always been a very loving, caring family. I tried to call their old house number and come to find it is disconnected. I wish to speak with Marge. I would have loved to attend the funeral being held tomorrow on March 29, 2007, but am unable to attend. My deepest...

My deepest sympathy. Richard had helped every one he came in contact with. He was special to all who knew him. I cant tell you how much better my life has been because of the help and advise he gave me over the years. What a amazing man who helped so many people. I was blessed just having known him. And the gift he gave me will last a life time. Ill miss you the rest of my days and i will never forget the change and difference in my life you made.

Dear Marge,
Rarely have I known a kinder more genuine person than Richard. In addition to his other talents, he was a wonderful carpenter who made my old homemade desk into a fine computer station; actually, where I am sitting now. He also created a perfect storage area from dead space under my stairway. There he installed a pressure light that automatically comes on when the door opens, making my grandchildren think it's magic. I feel very blessed to have known him. You are in my prayers.

I first met Richard 14 years ago through our common friendship with Bill W. We immediately became friends (didn't everyone who met him?). He lived his life helping others in every aspect. His smiling face and encouragement will be sorely missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your loving memories of this wonderful man bring you comfort in this difficult time.
