It seems like just yesterday all of us kids were playing and running around your house on orange street (usually making dough babies) and to much noise, and sometimes wake your dad from his nap, what great memories! Your dad was a wonderful father!

To the Lanier Family,
Yes, Richard loved sports and people. I was two years behind him in school. He kept records and statistics on all sporting events. He told me my batting average. I remember his love for the game of life. He never complained about his situation to my knowledge.
He was a great example.
