Uncle Richards house is a fond memory of mine as I visited cousins Michael and Robin and played on tricycles in the front driveway. He was nice to me as was aunt Nicki and gramma Myra. I wish I had kept in better touch as I am seeing this obit in 2018. Blessings to the family. I never met Russell. I hope all of you are well. Carl's daughter, Denise Larkins Moltzan.

I met Richard back in 1985 when I first moved to Miami. As a real southerner he was one of the first guys I could relate to since Miami was becoming "no longer a Southern city".I later went to work with he and the crew at his job shop. Richard, my Cousin, was my hero when I was a child. Uncle Winston had moved my family into his South Miami home. It was crowded. Richard was so patient and kind; he was 9, and already a Larkins man. In later years I learned he was a hero to so many people. His devotion to his family, friends and community made him loved by all of us. A great man. Love from Julie & Augie Heil
