We have lost a good honest man. Dick was my friend & mentor at Indiana Bell. He was like a father to me. Wilma, you and the family are in my thoughts & prayers. May God be with you.

My mom, Dawn, worked with Mr. LaVine at the phone company before he retired and I have on several occasions had the pleasure of being in his company and witness the great kindness and friendship him and his wife have offered to all. He was such a wonderful man and he will be greatly missed. Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

Dick was a kind and gentle soul. A smart and patient mentor when I worked beside him at Indiana Bell. Our loss is heaven's gain.

He was a fine man. I worked with Dick for several years, he was excellent technician, never seemed to get flustered. He was always smiling and friendly. Just nice to be around. Will miss him.. both of you will be in my prayers....

Dear Wilma,
We were saddened to read in the online newspaper that Dick passed away. We are in Florida for the winter so we will be unable to come to visit with you at the funeral home to extend our condolences. We always enjoyed being around Dick at the various functions he attended with you.
Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
With deepest sympathy,
Larry and Sue Stamm
