Mr. LaVoy was such a wonderful man. He helped me many times with my old VCR tapes and CDs. I remember years ago he told me to Shop local. He said it is so important to support Batavia businesses. We still do.

My sincere condolences to Dick's family over a great loss. I worked with Dick briefly after he left Batavia Liquors. He was briefly a salesman with Kane DuPage Business Equipment. He was a joy to work with and I appreciated his quiet leadership and genuine attitude. Although, I don't believe we were related, we shared the same last name. It was my honor to have known him.
