Richard F. Leggio

I worked with Rich when he held a temporary position at a manufacturing company in Bloomfield CT in the early 1980s. He was instrumental in me rethinking my life. Eventually I left and went to university and retired as a Partner of one of the worlds largest privately held investment advisor. I frequently reflect on our conversations from the time. I drove my his home in Wethersfield recently, and thought I'd search for him and sadly came across this. May he rest in peace.

It was with sorrow that I learned today of Rick Leggio's passing. I, like many others, tried to find him over the years, and could not. We met at SMU while he was finishing his MBA, and he hired me into Search Management Services after that. He loved that house on Reiger, and I can't believe how long ago it was that he was pushing my son's baby stroller at the Farmers' Market. My condolences to the family.

Hello, I knew your brother and uncle. He was a very nice person, had a beautiful home and was very nice to me. I have just seen this, his passing, and I am sad. We dated for a time, a very kind person. I will miss him and have a sad place in my heart for his passing. I don't know the circumstances of his passing, but i hope he was at peace. Rick was a very smart, funny, charismatic man. I only actually spent a total of a few days with him over a span of years; back when he was with Search Resource Management, playing tennis once in Virginia, and having brunch in DC one time several years ago when he was passing through. I lost track of him as many did, and only discovered his passing this month in searching for him. I extend my sincere condolences to his family. I lived in the room next to Rich in Eclectic (Wesleyan). We had many late nights, and interesting conversations. And oh my lord did he ever make me laugh! I'm so sad to read this news, so late in the game. My deepest condolences.
