Richard Leonard

Every now and then we have the experience of knowing a great man. I knew one. His name was Dick Leonard!

Mr. Leonard was a great influence on my developing world view and first real teacher of the craft of writing - a really great teacher and guide.

For those of us in the class of '60, Mr. Leonard was a breath of fresh air who inspired us to achieve our goals. His ability to communicate on our level made learning enjoyable and made college freshman English rather easy

I went to law school with Dick. He got me through school on two accounts: I had one teacher I could not understand his teaching method until Dick explained he has a circular teaching method, much like Pres Trump speaks (all around the subject). The second, we had an adjunct judge teaching us trial practice. This judge was calling in students at the end of the term and asking what grade we thought we deserved. I asked Dick, what should I say. He said say I deserved an A. And I did and I got...
