I loved his work and talent.

Just saw him in Irma La Douce and he part was really good and I believe I had seen him in Singin in the Rain too. May the perpetual light shine upon you.

Diki, I never met you but you scared the daylights out of me as a kid when you played Hans the dummy in the old Boris Karloff Thriller episode, "The Weird Tailor." You, as the moving, talking, murderous dummy who was however tender and gentle, gave me unforgettable nightmares when I was a little boy living in Brooklyn NY in a huge brownstone with my family. Diki produced and stared in The Small World of Mr. Myron. I do not know if it was ever shown on TV. I worked on the production and then assisted him with post production. His vision was boundless and sometimes hard for us mortals to grasp. He pushed the envelop of what was technically possible at the time and made magic. He was one of a kind. His spirit lives on in his films.

Diki was my next-door neighbor for number of years in Los Feliz. He was filled with energy, stories, and laughter. Always welcoming with a smile, I looked forward to seeing him all the time. When I moved to Silverlake we kept in touch. I will miss him. He was a joy to know, a pleasure to be with, and it was an honor to call him a friend
