Richard A. "Rick" Lester

I was saddened to learn of Rick's death, but ever so glad to have served with him in the Army's first real attack helicopter company, the 334th Attack Helicopter Company, at Fort Knox, and later at Fliegerhorst Kaserne, Hanau, Federal Republic of Germany from '72-'75. Rick and Janie graciously allowed me to stay with them in guest quarters while we prepared to DEROS from Germany.
