Not sure what to say?

I was an old friend from Lomond elementary school. We played a lot of basketball in those days - even though I was the shortest guy in my class. Dick didn't mind and we were a pretty good team - I fed him the ball and he made the baskets. I had a chance to reconnect a couple of years ago through the law firm and he was the same classy, intelligent, nice guy that I had known as a kid. I very recently learned of his passing and extend my condolensces to his entire family.

Dear Barbara,
I am very sad to hear of Dick’s passing. He was a good friend for many years. Played a lot of golf with him; always admired his smooth swing.
I regret that since moving from Cleveland > 16 years ago, I have not had much of a chance to see him, and will not be able to join you for the memorial service on Thursday. But, my thoughts and prayers are with you & all the Leukart family. Mike & Carine Mudler

It was a pleasure and honor to work with Mr. Leukart for 11 years at Baker & Hostetler. He was a brilliant attorney and had a lot of peers that looked up to him. I enjoyed listening to all of the stories he would tell me about his children and grandchildren. He especially loved to vacation with his family at their beautiful home in St. John. I’ll always remember his bubbly personality and laugh. God Bless you Mr. Leukart, you will be truly missed.
