Grantham, NH-Richard G. Lewis, 76, of Stoney Brook Road, died Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, NH.
He was born in Ayer, MA on January 3, 1939 the son of Edward F. and Dorothy M. (Smith) Lewis, Sr. He graduated from Ayer, MA High School and had lived in Grantham since 1976.


Dick serviced office equipment and then worked at Sturm Ruger for over 15 years. More recently he was employed at the Georges Mills General Store when it was owned by the Kidder Family where he worked for several years.


He was very proud to have served in the US Navy from 1959-1963. Dick was a former member of the Masons and found great enjoyment in scuba diving, skiing and snowmobiling.


He is survived by his wife Carolyn (Martin) Lewis of Grantham, NH; a son and his wife, Jay and Karin Lewis of Concord, NH; a daughter and her husband, Annalee and Matt Murphy of Cambridge, MA; and four grandchildren, Rachel, Sarah, Leander and Owen. He is predeceased by his parents and a brother, Edward Lewis, Jr.


Friends may call at the Chadwick Funeral Home, 235 Main Street, New London, NH on Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 P.M.
