Read MoreRick and I would hang out a lot. I spent three weeks with him one summer when my parents went on a vacation. While there, I learned about Utz pretzels which his mom didn't know I would eat the entire can. I learned and played with his beagle dog which was my first experience with pets. Loved Rick and his parents! Miss him.

Hello Sarah; My name is Brad Bickford and I was Rick's best friend in childhood. I am a psychotherapist and live in Arlington Va. I just heard of his passing. Rick and had many of the same interests outdoors, kayaking etc. We are all going to miss him.

We are sorry to hear of Rick´s passing. Although we never had the opportunity to meet Rick personally, we can tell he was a good man based on the good man he raised in his son Zachary.
