I first met Richard on a Christmas Eve going on 20 years ago. My daughter-in-law Shannon was his neice. Matt, Shannon and 5 month old Kowen came north from Alabama to surprise us all. Grandma Max invited myself and my other son Brett to come for dinner. Richard was busy cooking up a storm in the kitchen when we arrived.
