You and Richard always made my family feel like they were your family when we would visit you two at the lake. I know you and your family are going through a rough time, as Richard was bigger than life sometimes. May God keep you safe in his arms as you mourn his loss.

I went to school with Richard. We were both in band class. Although I haven't seen Richard since High School, I remember what a nice guy he was. Richard was the first guy my parents let me go out with. They allowed Richard to take me to a dance at school. My father met Richard outside in the yard with a pistol strapped on his waist. It has been years since we have seen Richard, but remember him fondly from working with him at Piedmont Airlines.
