Not sure what to say?

Will never forget Dick took good care of me while I was there

Will always miss you and think of you

Think about you often Dick....may Heaven's light shine upon your face sweet friend

Donna, Kirk, and family, Brooke and I send our heartfelt sympathy. We are beyond shock and disbelief for the loss of Dick. He was without question the most fun-loving, generous and kind man that we have ever met. We will cherish our memories, and miss him greatly. Our hope is that your memories of him will sustain you in days to come!

Our love,

Dear Lintern Family,

I knew Dick during our Hawken days together, Class of '67. What great company he was throughout our days then. It was a magic time in our lives. What a full spirit, what laughter, what kindness, what fine camaraderie he offered. I see him in my memory now, standing nearby, laughing infectiously, calling my name to join in.

Since I moved away from Cleveland that summer of 1967, so long ago now, Dick and I saw one another rarely, always at a Hawken...

Dearest Lois and Family,

I was deeply saddened to learn of your beloved Dick's passing, and extend to you my sincere condolences.

Dick, my husband, Jack, and I were sailing buddies, workout buddies, and just good friends from Mentor Harbor for over 30 years. He was witty, warm and wonderfully charming; and his absence will be keenly felt. He has left an indelible impression on the people whose lives he touched, and we will remember him always as a spirited individual who...

as i member of dick's class of '67 at hawken, he was a positive member of the school and an important receiver for me on the football team. humorous and happy to be among friends throughout each week...playing sports and generally organizing weekend fun for many. he is another that i had not seen in years but my memories are vivid and i know he lived his life to the fullest...my sincere condolences to you and the family

Rest in Peace Dickie. My love and sympathy to Donna, Lois, Kirk, Suzer, Casey and his beloved granddaughters, as well as to Peach, Pam and Robin, too. Dick packed a lot of living into his lifetime. He was generous to so many people above and beyond his family. He left this world way too soon. He will be missed and remembered and we will tell his future grandchildren about their "Papa Bear".

So very sorry for your loss Donna. I am glad my husband and I had the pleasure to meet Dick and you last summer at McNeal's. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
