Not sure what to say?

I just did a Google search for Richard as I had not heard from him in many months and had a suspicion I would find an obituary. I first met Richard when he was a visitor at St. Mary's Episcopal Church around 1994 here in Kansas City, MO, where I was a very active member until early 1998. Because of our mutual love of 'high church,' Richard and I became fast friends, meeting for lunch on the occasions when he had to be in the Kansas City area, but more frequently as email correspondents when...

Dear Gloria,
I was very sad to learn of Richards passing. He was a wonderful teacher, administrator, leader and mentor in the long term care field who became a friend.
Blessings to you and your family during this time of loss.
Love. Al and Colleen Campbell

So very sorry to learn about Richard's passing. He & I communicated often via E-Mail re: our family history. I shall miss his insight and his comments! Sincerely, Meri Earing Knapp (a distant cousin)

Gloria and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed our visits at the dental office. I am sure you feel lucky to have traveled so extensively throughout you marriage. May these memories comfort you during this difficult time. Liz Waters

Geodes, June 2006

Fr. Lintner, You were both a great story teller and a wonderful listener.
Rest in peace.

Richard as your Grandson you were always there to help me, and you were there for so many people and selflessly helped so many. Your humor and love will be missed by all.

Richard was my teacher when I prepared for my Nursing Home Administrator's license. As a result of Richard's teaching, many people went into their community to improve the lives of the less advantaged. Richard left a large footprint. I remember him fondly and with great respect.

May Richard rest in peace. May his family be surrounded with love and peace.
