Not sure what to say?

Thank you Richard for the many hours of enjoyment you provided us here in Southern California listening to and playing Jesse's organ. We know the big Wurlitzer wil have a great new home in Phoenix soon. We know your up there with Jesse and George having a great
discussion about the Paramount.

We will miss Dick. As a family, we knew him for years and many good times. As a business, Commercial Envelope always appreciated his knowledge and help.
He was quite a character and a ggod man.

Dick and I were classmates at Richmond Hill High School and I remember him fondly. We lost touch during World War II so I am glad to read about the rich and happy business and private life he led. I am so sorry to read of his death and send his family my sympathy and best wishes, Kathie Haley

Mr. Loderhose,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Fair Winds And Following Seas

Please accept our heartfelt condolences. Everyone here at The Bay Theatre have been deeply saddened by the passing of the 'big man'. We are extremely grateful to him for letting us work in such a magnificent theatre. And indebted to him for the chance of experiencing a piece of history with The Great Wurlitzer Organ.

My aunt was a neighbor of Mr. Loderhose when he lived in Jamaica Estates (Queens, New York City) in the 1960s. She arranged for me to visit his house and play the Paramount Studio organ. What a thrill for a beginning organist! I will always remember his neighborliness and generosity.

Please accept our sincere condolences
on the passing of Dick Loderhose.
The last time we had the opportunity to talk to him was at the theatre during the ATOS convention in Tampa.
When he was living in California, we enjoyed several visits with him in San Diego and Seal Beach. He was an icon in theatre organ circles, and will be missed by many.

I am really sorry to hear of Dick's passing. A friend and I spent the day with Dick at the Seal Beach theatre listening to and playing the Wurlitzer. We then went to dinner and came back to the theatre to hear stories and compare knowledge of past days, artists, instruments, etc. A wealth of knowledge is now departed. He will really be missed !

Aunt Grace & Family, I have many wonderful memories of Uncle Dickie. He was a wonderful man.You are in our thoughts and prayers. Love David & Paula Ryan
