Sorry to here about Dickie great guy may he RIP...

Linda, Mary and Eileen, we send our sincere condolences on the loss of Dickie. He was a wonderful guy and one of our favorites from the years we all lived in Cabot Manor and sitting on the sidelines watching him play Softball. Was so saddened to hear of Dick's passing. He was a fun loving fellow with a booming voice and an even bigger personality. I remember him well from HS. Our heart aches for you all.

Dick was a great athlete. He and Tommy played regularly on the 1963 CHS AA Conf champion football club as linebackers. Moving to Chicopee Center for the 1961 season Dick joined Chicopee Boys Club B 12-14 team under Ed Hickey. In 1962 we all played for Ed on a powerhouse CBC 12-14 club (Me, Dick, Brian Hickey, Ron Trask, Rich Cournoyer, Bob Welzyn, Ken Lech, Ken Lonczak, Ken Domingos..... we beat Circle AA and it's ace Leroy Laflesh in a 1 game play in for the city title
