I worked with Dr. Lon, when he was doing his residency at NBIMC. He also rotated during his residency at EGMC on Pediatrics and the Pediatric ER. I was working as a RN in the ER. I had a dream about Dr. Lon last night. He was my pediatrician beginning at age 2, and the only physician my mother ever completely trusted to take care of me. He was also a huge influence in my life. Having no doctors in my family, my only exposure to medicine at an early age was through my interactions with Dr. Lon. I knew from a young age I wanted to be a doctor just like Dr. Lon. Today, as a second year medical student, I can only hope to show the same compassion and care to my future...

I was shocked to hear about Dr. Lon's passing. I spent the past 21 years of my life having him as my Pediatrician and don't think any other Doctor will ever live up to his legacy. We recently moved & just found out about dr. lon passing because we have been unable to get access of our medical records. He was such an amazing Doctor. We just got to know and my family and I are heartbroken to hear that Dr. Lon is not with us anymore. I am so sad and feel like crying. I just saw him a couple of months ago for my kids check ups. He was my kids pediatrician from their birth onwards and my son is now 14, while my daughter will be 16 in October.
