Not sure what to say?

To The Lonning Family, I was deeply saddened when I heard of Craig's passing.I will always treasure our years together as friends, neighbors and SAE Fraternity Brothers at Drake. I was especially pleased when Craig served as Best Man at my wedding. I had been looking foreward to spending time with Craig during our 50TH Class Reunion this coming May. All of his friends know Craig was a very special person who was able to overcome terrific odds early in his life. God Speed Craig Lonning.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Judy and the Lonning family. These transitions are the most painful we face in life. Many friends surround you. We hope their love and support will comfort you.

I only know of Craig from the stories told by his daughter, Kelly, which paint the picture of a very loving and wonderful father and man. May his entire family find peace in the memories they shared.

Dear Lonning family,

i was one of Craig's many customers for years. In fact, he sold me my last winter sport coat; which I am still enjoying. He made shopping an enjoyable and educational experience. He taught a lot about clothes and life while making a sale. In the days and months to come, may your hearts and minds be filled with memories of good times spent with Craig. - Jeff Lowry

Here's to Friday nights at the round table in the Iowa Room and to New Year's Eve's parties and to trips to Galena and to great friends and great fun. Please join me in toasting a good man who lived life with gusto and energy and was a hell of a lot of fun.

Judy - Although it has been awhile we still fondly recall Craig, you and your family. Great neighbors and friends!
So sorry Craig is no longer with us and our very best wishes to you and your children!

To the Lonning Family,

Condolences to the Lonning family. As TRHS classmates, we all admired Craig and everyone knew him. When he was diagnosed with cancer and returned to school, we thought he was a walking miracle! He was liked and respected by all who knew him. Sincere condolences to his family and all his friends. May he rest now in peace, and may we remember to model our life after Craig's good example of bravery and optimism.

On behalf of the Bruner Family,

Lonning Family, (especially Jane & Kelly); Our Sympathy to your family. As repeated by many that knew him, Craig was a beautiful person. I am sorry that we are traveling and will not be there in person to show our respect for Craig.
Besides shopping at Frankels for many years, we began banking at Iowa State Bank due to Craig's warm and friendly personality. He was Special. Regards, Joe and Toni Garvey

My condolences to Jane and Kelly and Judy and all the Lonning family
