Not sure what to say?

All the kids loved Uncle Dick. My little ones, Eve and Eric, found him ready with a hug and a joke and a toss into the Lowe pool. Family was always welcome, even if they didn't know we were coming over. What a gift.

So sorry for your loss. I remember heading straight to Lowe's from school.

Dick provided me an entertainment value that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Without a doubt he was one of the most generous men I have ever met! Witty, intelligent and certainly someone we all aspired to be like. I have missed him for quite along time now and only hope he is enjoying a cold Falstaff while fishing for trout on the East Fork River! God watch over his "girls" & Gertie...

Dick and his father, Spot, helped shape my life.

I didn't know Dick's role in WWII until this day. I am so thankful for his service.

I know he is now well at rest.

My family was very fortunate to get to know Dick by spending a week with him and Gertie on Anna Maria Island years ago. He was so entertaining to the children. When he couldn't remember our daughters name he would call her Kerplunkin and she would giggle. Love and prayers to Gertie, all her beautiful daughters and their families.

Dick and Spot Lowe gave me my first job, December 28, 1965, I started as a stockboy-delivery driver. They encouraged me in my pursuit of pharmacy, and always made sure I kept up my studies. I graduated from pharmacy school in 1975, and bought the store from Dick in 1980. Dick served as a mentor to me, and to honor him & the Lowe family, I named my new pharmacy in Centerpoint, Lowe Drug at Centerpoint. Dick was one in a million, I am going to miss him. Michael Hefley, R.Ph.

My deepest condolences are sent to the family. Dick and "Spot" gave me my first job. Lowe Drug, nickel cokes are such a big part of my youth. God Bless.

My deepest condolences to Dick Lowe's family. I loved Lowes. I would love to get a vanilla phosphate and just hang out. Such special memories and Dick will be so missed.. God Bless Danielle Brown

Losing Dick is like losing a part of my childhood. Dick was always nice to my parents and us kids when we entered the store. He would always say, "Here come the Bombers." I will always remember that he hired identical twins to work behind the soda counter. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
