Rick was like an angel to us, when our granddaughter, Marissa, was a patient at Riley Hospital for children, in 1998. Marissa was a patient in NICU department, and Rick visited us. It was a great relief to see someone we knew at that time of anxiety in a touch and go situation. How thankful we were with his visit. Sheila and Bill Black

Rick Lowry was a great and kind person. Even though we all get older and go our separate ways. I can remember times growing up with him and cousins at grandpa and grandma Lowrys farm. Remembering times sitting on the concrete steps at the smokehouse. All of us lined up in a row and going to church with the family especially on Easter Sunday. My how times have past by and we all know Rick is in a much better place with his father, mother, aunts and uncles. Remembering the good old days. Some...

My heart goes out to your family, it is so hard to lose a brother. He was such a special uncle to your children and will always hold a place in their hearts.
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you now and always, we have so many good memories of growing up on the farm and riding bus #7 !

I worked with Rick for several years at Methodist, I was a wound nurse. Rick was always available for questions and problems and was a joy to work with.

Someone as special as Rick will never be forgotten. He will remain in our hearts
