Not sure what to say?

I didn't know Mr. Lucas but wish to let the family know that I am praying for him and his family. I suffer from Parkinson's too and am hopeful for a cure soon. Sorry for your loss.

We didn't know Rick all that well, however, the times we were around him it was clear that he was a special person. We are saddened to learn of his death, but hope you gain peace knowing that he has been released from this life to the next and is himself at peace.

Rick was such a great person, he touched our lives as we were healing from a near death motorcycle accident. He ministered to us in LaTour and Blairs town. He was such an inspiration to our healing and helped guide us where we needed to go. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May you find comfort and healing through our Savior Jesus Christ. In God's love,

Beth & Family -- we felt so blessed to have you as neighbors for some many years on Russell. We watched your children grow up and head off to college; and Rick learn of his Parkinson's. As you deal with your great loss, know that we are thinking of you with the kindest thoughts and prayers.

Rick Lucas was a great person and an even better leader. He was always easy to work with because of his great attitude and colorful personality. It is amazing that even with his debilitating disease he did not let it define his legacy. He will always be remembered as a Delta Chi gentlemen and a true example of brotherhood. He will be greatly missed by everyone especially the Delta Chi family. It is truly a sad day as we have lost one of the best men I have ever met. He was a great role model...

Beth & Family,
Our "Top of the Hill Gang" has lost such a big part of who we were, but there is nothing that will ever be able to take away the wonderful memories we have of Rick.
We love you all and pray for peace and healing as you face these difficult days.

I am saddened to learn of Rick's passing. He was such an inspiration to so many people, especially all of his Delta Chi Brothers. His contributions to the house were sensational. He will be greatly missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Your memories of your dad will give you lots of comfort.
With Love, Ronnie and Ellen Koch & family (Troy's aunt)

I will always have fond memories of Rick and his outgoing personality. He seemed to care about me and my family as I cared about his. I smile as I recall the softball games with the Kirk and his enthusiasm, not only for softball but for all that he did. He will be missed.
