Richard Lucas

Thinking of you all at this difficult time. Richard was the centre cog in the family wheel (taking over the baton from his dad) keeping everyone in touch. He was one of the good guys and helped so many people and will be greatly missed. Love Joan & Mark Knapton and Roy Lucas xxx

Richard will be so sadly missed by so many. The whole Lucas family will be poorer without him. Our thoughts are with.

There are times when words fall short of capturing the sense of loss a community feels. This is such a time. Not only was Richard such a lovely man, he was very active in supporting local charities whose sole aim is to make the outdoors accessible for those suffering with various disabilities. On behalf of everyone involved in one of those charities, Tandem Trekkers, may I offer our deepest and sincerest condolences to all affected by this tragic loss.

A dear friend indeed for many years. 1 Corinthians Ch.13 Richard was all these things. We played snooker each week for the last 6 years or so. Just a shame we never got any better! Much love to all the family. Clive and Debbie x
