Dick and I flew together in the Air Force at Travis Air Force Base. We were together in both the 84th MAS (C-133) and the 75th MAS (C-5). Not only was Dick fun to fly with but he was the consummate pilot and leader. I learned a lot about aviation, leadership and professionalism from Dick.
