Read MoreI am so sorry to hear of Richards passing. He was great friend to my brother Paul during some rough times. He employed my brother and took him in when my brother was struggling with depression and other issues. He was generous and a good person. He will be missed. Please let us know if there is a memorial service. We would love to attend.

I was so shocked, as I read about the suddenly death of Richard. I have been in Ann Arbor in 1997, and stayed with his parents in Plymouth Rd. in Ann Arbor. My thougts are with you: Anne (Richards mother), Linda and Lisa (Richards sisters) and Ben (Richards son).

Dear Lutzeier Family,
We were so sorry to hear about Richard--he will be missed so much. We always thought it was wonderful that he had been able to purchase the Frains Lake schoolhouse where he’d gone to gradeschool, and to live and work at the site. We also looked forward to Halloween, when Richard would bring Ben around for trick-or-treating when Ben was young.
