I just heard about Dick's passing. I'm so sorry for your loss. Dick was a kind man. I enjoyed coming to your house when the boys were young so you could have a night out, You both deserved it and always seemed to have a great time together. I just heard about your dad and am so sorry for your loss. We were all inseperable growing up and your dad was a big part of it, whether taking us to ball games or camping in Grand Haven. He will certainly be missed. Your family is in my prayers.

Karen....I got to know you and Dick only recently when you moved next door to me....he was always like a father figure to me helping me when ever he could....offering advice....tips....and previous knowledge on all kinds of things where he had experience. I also had the priviledge of being able to get out and golf a few times with Dick, and we laughed and joked bout' lots of things and he would brag about how his son's could drive the ball a " country mile " and I'd say " Dick you sure about...

I haven't seen Dick in many years, but my childhood memories of him are so very fresh. I remember him as being kind, fair, and lots of fun. May the many memories of Dick warm your hearts. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you.. Gloria (Dochod) Barrenger

I am so thankful that I got to spend the day recently with Dick and you ... grocery shopping, making lunch together and just visiting. How Dick was on that day is how I will always remember him. The best memory I have of Dick, though, is the time we had a get-together at your house and he spent the entire evening chasing after and playing with my two little (at that time) grandkids Erin and Logan.
