I am so sad to hear of the passing of my friend Rich.He was a longtime customer at the patio bar Longboat Key Hilton.I bartended their for many years . An avid beach walker usually 5 miles a day he always stopped by rain or shine for a diet coke and some chit chat or just to keep me company on some of those slow summer days.WE both loved baseball and had many fun days watching the games on tv at the bar.Always striking up conversations with hotel guest,he saved me so many times chatting...

I was sad to hear about my great uncle Richie. I didnt see him a lot, but have very fond memories of he and Barbara. My grandmother, Harriet, is his older sister.
