Richard P. "Dick" Maguire

Dear Maguires, I am so very sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what you must be going through and I send you all my deepest sympathies. I'm so grateful to have seen Dick and Patty at the Academy Courts dedication earlier this year. I am sorry to have missed his memorial. I was unaware of his passing. Stay strong as always. Hi, Patty. This is Jerry Martinez. Dick was the nicest guy. I know losing him after so many joyful years is painful for you and yours. Joe died on Mother's Day over two years ago. We were also married nearly 52 years. I don't know how to console you except to say family helps tremendously. xoxo Jerry

I new Dick mostly through tennis. Dick and I also played a little music at his parents home one summer. I would say that Dick was absolutely one of most wonderful and honest individuals I have ever met. He quickly gained mutual respect from his tennis peers by his excellent tennis skills but more so by the way he presented himself on and off the court. What a true gentleman. I will remember Dick forever.

My Family Grew up nextdoor and full timed the Tennis Club with the entire McGuire Family, Tennis, swimming , dinners and more. Dick was a carbon copy of his DAD,, Such a great Family , THe best on the PLANET , Chuck, Now Dick, RIP buddy,, miss ya already ,Bobby Morgan & Family

I've never met anyone as relentlessly kind, endlessly supportive and consistently humorous as Dick. He will be missed!

I worked with Dick Maguire at Intel many years in IT Flex. We were on the same team (photo attached) and worked several projects together. The photo is from an IT Team Building at Sandia Peak June 2012.
