Not sure what to say?

This guy was a gentle giant. In all of the years that I knew him I never heard him say anything negative about anyone. He gave new meaning to the term: "Nice Guy" ! Rest peacefully, my friend.

I worked with Dick for 5 years in his hardware store in the mid 1960's. A great guy to work for.

To Jane, Mary, and Bob-- my deepest condolences. You are such a wonderful family and I enjoyed visiting with you when I was Mary's job coach. You are all in my thoughts at this difficult time Denise Hamedy, Living Resources

I worked at Detroit Supply, right across from Mahoney's Hardware in Brandywine Ave. We
exchanged orders frequently.

I remember Mr. Mahoney from a time when the houses on Garner Avenue had names and not numbers. His business success, as evident by his perennial new Cadillac routinely backed into his family's driveway, were an inspiration to us kids growing up in the neighborhood. He was always pleasant and generous to me and my brothers when we were his newspaper carriers. May God's strength and fond memories be with your family during this time of loss and grief.

Jane,
I remember Dick well from high school days when we were in the same graduating class (1946). Also from some of the reunions we had. Dick had a good sense of humor and always a smile. He treated everyone as a friend.
Please accept my deepest sympathy and my prayers are with you and your family.

My sympathy to Jane and family. Dick was always so kind to my Dad. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Janet Sartoris Hoehn

The world lost one of the "Nice Guys" when it lost Dick.

Jane,Bob and Mary, anyone who knew Dick was blessed by a great man. I will never forget his big smile and unique humor. The beach will never be the same.
