Not sure what to say?

I have a fond memory of CSM Manno, and it left a profound impact on my son. It was during a Memorial Day event that was put together by Dan Edder in Girard. CSM Manno and I were in our dress blues with CSM Manno having his sabre at his side. My son who was probably 5 or 6 at the time was very impressed with his sabre. CSM Manno saw him checking it out and asked him if he wanted to hold it. What kid wouldn't? As my son was holding his sabre CSM Manno took time to chat with him and explain what...

Dear Lord, please comfort those in grief,
Love them, lift them, give relief
For loss they've suffered, sadness felt;
Make this sorrow slowly melt.

Lord, let happy memories ease,
Creating peace like a gentle breeze,
And as you help them make it through.
Draw them closer, Lord, to you.

Sincere condolences on your loss.

His service to country will never be forgotten.

Rich was a true leader who never let his being a leader get in the way of educating those who wanted a hand up. I salute.

What an impressive member of humanity; one that surely will be missed.

Rich, You are going to be sadly missed by many.

CSM Manno was a grat man and made an everlasting impression on me. I learned a great deal from him while serving with him on funeral details for military funerals. He will be sadly missed....

Our prayers and condolences go out to your family. Rich will be remembered for his dedication and commitment to his fellow servicemen and women. I know we lost a great warrior and friend. RIP Rich.
