I was deeply saddened to hear of Richards unexpected death. Although I cannot say we were close friends, I feel fortunate to have known Richard under two widely different circumstances, separated by 56 years. The first was as the wonderful, caring, and impressive big brother to my best friend Steve during early elementary school in Newton in the 1960s. The second has been in 2019 as a co-volunteer and fellow trainee with Communities for Restorative Justice, where his initiative and insights...

Richard Marcus was a well respected colleague in the real estate community and always good to talk to about the market, life and music. My husband, Scott and I always enjoyed our interactions with Richard. We will miss him and send our condolences to his loved ones and close friends.
