I met Father Markham way back in 1977 when I lived in New Jersey. We have remained friends ever since, even though I now live so many miles away. I will always remember him as a very kind and generous man and will miss him. May he have eternal rest and peace with God who he loved so dearly.

I met Father Markham late in his life at the Sts. Cosmos and Damian home where he lived. He was always smiling and had one of the kindest souls imaginable. I always asked after him when he left the home and will always have a special place for him in my heart. May he rest in peace and light perpetual shine upon him.
