Dick and I knew each other as members of the JCARC Legal/advocacy committee in the mid 70´s, along with Pat. We all had the same goal - find the program that would help our child the most. We ended up going in totally opposite directions with differing philosophies, each with the same goal of what was best for our child. We kept in touch a bit over the years.
