Richard Bruce Markwood

Dr. Markwood was the best obgyn. He delivered 2 of my grandchildren and was my Dr. for years. He took really good care of me and my girls. He will be missed.

I miss u doctor I can´t seem to walk into that office anymore since u past and my dad past right after u the same way may God be with ur children and wife and family we will always love u

I was so sad to recently find out about Dr Markwood´s passing. I was a patient of Dr Markwood. He always made me feel at ease & comfortable. He performed 3 outpatient surgeries for me and knew how anxious I was. But he was very reassuring & I felt genuinely cared for. My heart goes out to his wife & family. He was truly one of the best!

Sending my condolences and prayers to Dr. Markwood's family and friends. Dr. Markwood was my doctor for 30 years. He delivered all of my sons. He was so nice, warm and caring and always made me feel like he was listening to my concerns. My best and funniest memory is during labor with my youngest son, he and my mother somehow started talking about Bob Seger. Shannon and the Markwood family, I am so so very sorry to hear this news, and so late. I had the pleasure of joining your dear family on 2 trips to help care for the children, and it was an experience I always will keep close to my heart as wonderful memories. I will surely be praying hard for all of you, and I will try to send a card because there's so many things I can say about your beautiful family that touched my life forever.

To the Friends, Family and Patients of Dr. Markwood: I just saw this online and wish I knew much sooner. As you already know, Dr. Markwood was a true blessing to have as a doctor and friend. He cared and it was sincere which made life much easier when taking care of your health. God sent us this angel and now he is wearing his crown of "Job Well Done!!" I´m so sadden by the news of his passing . Dr.Markwood was my mother doctor in the 1980´s when he then became my doctor and delivered both of my children . I just recently moved back to Ohio from Texas and inquire on becoming a patient again but I was informed that he retired then when I seen one of his colleagues they told me the news . We will be truly missed and I will miss your hugs .

I am so sorry to read of the loss of Dr. Markwood. He and Dr. Sutherland delivered our quadruplets in Sept `13. He was amazing during the whole pregnancy. My deepest condolences to his whole family
