Milton- Richard P. Marsh, 60 of 8 Skip road died Sunday April 2, 2006 at his home after a sudden illness.

Born March 23, 1946 in Rochester, NH he is the son of the late Robert and Louise (Page) Marsh.

Richard lived in Rochester most of his life until moving to his present home in Milton, where he has resided with his family for the past 8 years. Richard, a graduate of the University of NH and Suffolk Law School, was a self employed attorney for 35 years in Rochster until his retirement. In the past year he played a key role in assisting his family to open their own real estate company (Marsh Realtors, LLC) of which he was very proud. Richard was a very active man being part of Rotary International as a Paul Harris Fellow, the American Red Cross Board and the New Hampshire Bar Association. He enjoyed hunting especially with his good friends Bruce Wotton and Herb Clark, he was a big hockey and baseball fan and he also enjoyed land developing.

Members of his family include his wife of 34 years, Barbara Koopman Marsh of Milton, his son Chris Marsh of Gonic, his daughters; Jennifer Marsh and her husband Tad Langlois of Milton and Lindsey Gilbert and her husband Derek Gilbert of Farmington, his brothers; Robert Marsh and his wife Patricia of Falmouth, ME and Rolland Marsh and his wife Jean of Acton, ME, his mother in law Kay Koopman, his nieces; Kathy Prewitt and her husband Clay and their three children, Susan Perry and her husband David and four children, his nephews; Todd Marsh and his wife Chris, Robert III and his daughter Danielle, and Jeffrey Marsh.

A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11am in the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main St, Rochester NH 03867.
