Eskimo and I attended First United Presbyterian Church and later I became his 10th grade history teacher at West Charlotte. As time went on, we became friends and fraternity brothers. He will never be forgotten and my heart goes out to the entire Maxwell family. Peace and Blessings!

Richard you will truly be missed. We meet on a plane 20 years ago heading to Atlanta, Ga; he was headed to Morehouse's Homecoming and I was headed to Tuskegee's Homecoming. We instantly became friends and later business partners. Although He is a Que and I am a Kappa, he had that bubbly personality that made you like him. He knew how to enjoy life while he was here om Earth and I am sure he is now resting in peace. I will miss you, my brother.

Richard inspired me to never be afraid to approach, call, meet, and conduct business deals with anyone. No matter their position, social status, celebrity, or affiliation, Richard was never intimidated. Your tenacity lives on. God Bless you and The Maxwell Family ... Mike Jones, DC

We crossed paths only a short while, during our college years at Morehouse, but you left a lifelong impression on all that met you. I wish I'd known you were right here in North Carolina all this time. Rest in peace, my brother.
