Richard Murray McAdam

I was so fortunate to call Rick my boss. I worked with Rick in East Longmeadow Ma. He had big expectations from his employees but his heart was even bigger. I hope Kathy understands what an impact her husband had on my life and career. One example: we got about a foot of snow during one storm that year. It was my responsibility to shovel all the snow from the carriages before the store opened. Rick grabbed a shovel and helped my for two hours. We just talked about his career and our lives....

Rick was my boss in 1995. I learned so much from him and he was certainly a mentor to me. I never met anybody with a bigger heart than Rick. You would think he was intimidating but he was a big teddy bear. He made such a huge impact on my life and career. Rick was one of the all time best people and supermarket managers.
