Our old friend Ed Hart e-mailed me with the shocking news of Dick's untimely passing. When I called Ed, he reminded me the last time we were all together was in the mid- 1980's at the Midland Holiday Inn. I will always remember Dick showing me around the Dow Center back in 1974, when we were both beginning accountants. At that time he was also so proud of his new black Chevrolet Monte Carlo.
