Not sure what to say?

I shall remember Dick McCrum as a kind, unassuming, and decent man. He was a good natured and supportive mentor for a young student just starting Graduate School years ago at the University of Maine. I learned as much from him about how people should behave as I did about science. May we all aspire to carry on what we saw in him.

great nephew

My father and I had the pleasure of visiting him a few years ago. We even took him to visit his brother Fred and sister-in-law, Kay in Portland. Those three boys shared with me some wonderful stories of them growing up in Maine. It was truly an honor for me to be in the presence of that man. Now you are finally with your wonderful wife.

Although I only had mere hours with which to spend with him, he impacted my...

I am Uncle Richard's nephew and will always remember his easy way and addictive smile. I am fortunate to have one of his watercolors, a bouquet of pink carnations. My family and I will miss Richard and are so thankful I was a member of his family. Thanks for everything, SIR.
