Your #1 fan... miss you <3

Our thoughts are with you on your first Anniversary in heaven.

RIP good friend ox

Nancy, I worked with Dick as his producer/engineer during his daily show at the big D. He was a friend and always had a kind word to say all. I will miss his warmth and sincere love and friendship to everyone he met. He was the Prince! Nancy, Helen and I wish our sincere condolences to you and your family. May he rest in peace.

Farewell to "The Prince." Dick was known by this moniker at WDRC, where I had the privilege of working alongside him. He was always "princely" in his interactions with others, and never had a bad word to say about anyone. Now, as we bid a fond farewell to one of the best the media business, let us never forget his humility and learn from that successful approach to life. I will always miss our CT radio reunions at Harbor Park in Middletown, which became easier for me to attend after my...

I was Dick´s producer for his live radio show on WDRC. Dick was a professional through and through. He was more than that, Dick McDoungh was my friend. He struggled through several challenges in his life, but over came all of them. I will miss you Buddy, but as you always close out your radio show "Be Happier and Make someone else Happy. Rest In Peace My Friend. See you again on the other side MariLou and I offer our sincere condolences to Nancy, Shannon, Ricky and the entire...

My condolences to the McDonough family on Dick´s passing. Dick & I were classmates at Fitchburg High & remember many the nights Dick would mimic Murray The K´s voice while listening to him on the radio. It was always a treat to get Dick to perform. In the late 60´s I lived in Springfield & had the pleasure of listening to Dick on the radio. I saw him last at our 50th reunion & we shared many fond memories, RIP my old friend. Dick Freedman

McDonough Family, our deepest condolences. Dick was a bright spot in the class 62 FHS and so glad we got to see him at the last class reunion. He will be missed.

I'm so sorry for Dick's family for their loss. As a teenager in the 1960's, with my treasured transistor radio, I listened to WDRC as much as I could and have many memories of babysitting on New Year's Eves, listening to the countdown to the #1 hit of the year and Dick's recognizable voice. Thirty years later, I lived in West Palm Beach and while searching radio stations, I tuned into WRMF and there was that distinctive voice. I waited for the announcer to identify himself and bingo! I was...
