Not sure what to say?

A fine leader and gentleman. He truly cared about his employees and staff. He retired from Campbell Soup much too early. He will be missed.

A true gentleman and one of the finest leaders that I knew during my career at Campbell's.

I was greatly influenced by Gordon McGovern as a 15-year old at First Congregational Church in Ridgefield, CT (circa 1978). He was my mentor on my confirmation project. I loved the yellow Beetle! He was a wonderful person, and I send my condolences to you all on your loss.

So many, many happy memories of sailing trips, conversations, and drop-in visits! Our families' lives were intertwined for many years! Hugs to all!

I have good memories of traipsing about the Carolina triangle years ago with Gordon & family, seeking the holy grail of edibles. My condolences to you all.

What an amazing man. While I did not have the pleasure, you have written a beautiful tribute to him and I felt compelled to write.
